Activated Roller Top (ARB) Sorters

Modular plastic belt technology has evolved rapidly due to its ruggedness and ability to solve unique challenges. Angle Roller Top (ARB) is the use of small plastic wheels that rotate in various directions relative to the belt flow, often at some oblique angle. These rollers can be "activated" by pressing a material against them from the bottom increasing the top speed and allowing the machine designer additional material handling tools.

ARB equipment is expensive, but in the right application, such as a problem area or a 24/ 7 production line it can be an excellent problem solver and value.

ARB Singulator

Many warehouses suffer from jams and other problems prior to induction. An ARB singulator has a nearly "magic" ability to descramble and singulate product. At StreamTech we recommend first looking at ways to avoid the jams, but the ARB singulator will certainly solve them.

ARB Dividers and Sorters

ARB Sorters can be configured like conventional sorters with oblique or right angle discharges. Case rate performance is similar to a mid-range Narrow Belt Sorter. ARB Sorters can also be configured in a "switch" arrangement to divide flow for packaging lines, replacing slat dividers with lower maintenance and safer equipment.
