In-Motion Dimensioners

Dimensioners are typically used to check volumes against current WMS data for accurate storage information and to audit parcel carrier dimensional weight charges. In-motion Dimensioners work with powered conveyors to automatically capture product cubic information without an attendant.

The SolidCube 4000 Series Dimensioners are often provided in conjunction with in-motion checkweighers to provide a complete unattended checkweigh and cubing system for automated manifest and carrier dim weight auditing. Laser-based dimensioning units can accurately dimension even slightly skewed packages to 0.20 in.

Software resides on the 1100 Controller which also serves as the host connection, checkweigher controller and can be used as a conveyor system controller, supplanting conventional PLCs and facilitating low-cost 24x7 remote support.

The powerful Checkweigh Cube Manager software integrates the entire package and logs all events to file available on your network. This data can be integrated with SolidShip for unattended manifest or connected to your WMS or ERP via SolidComm host interface.
