The traditional paper-in-pouch typically requires 30 seconds or more of labor per application. Duplex Packslip™ is a family of problem-solving technologies that provide for printing on both sides of a label which can be automatically applied to shipments. The top label can be removed to reveal a hidden packslip on the back side.
StreamTech manufactures systems that allow customers to realize the full potential of this technology. Typical applications include the application of packslip to the back of ship label, return label applications, batch pick and auto-assignment of orders to full-case items, integration of returns collateral like packing instructions, and marketing material including print-in-color.
How it Works
Duplex Packslip™ provides for printing on both sides of a label which can be automatically applied to shipments. The top label is removed to reveal a hidden packslip on the back side. If desired, a return label can be added underneath.
Using a desktop printer that prints both sides and pre-peels the duplex packslip, the labor for the ship label & packslip process can be reduced approximately 70%. Incorporating conveyors, in-motion scales, and fixed scanners, can help capture and even improve the savings. This desktop version can also be used to back-up the fully automated solution.
